DRAWN TO
WILDLIFE AND
ARCHITECTURE
Hi, I’m Valentine! I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with a lifelong love of architecture, landscapes, wildlife, and the details that give places their personality.
I create visual identities, illustrations, websites, and communications for independent businesses, hotels, restaurants, tourism organizations, events, and publications. I’m particularly drawn to projects that tell the story of a place and celebrate what makes it unique.
I work digitally and by hand, combining watercolour, traditional Chinese ink, and digital illustration. My toolkit includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, alongside AI tools for exploring ideas, developing graphics, and refining copy. I use Squarespace and social media to bring visual identities to life online.
I studied architecture at McGill University (M.Arch.) and landscape architecture at the Université de Montréal (B.L.A.), and I’m currently pursuing a Certificate in Environmental Data Science at Yale University. My design education informs my approach to composition, scale, and the relationship between people and places. My studies in data science strengthen my approach to problem solving, helping me identify patterns and translate complex questions and findings into visuals that make information easier to understand and act on.
