Hi, I’m Valentine! I’m a creative director with a lifelong love of architecture, art, landscapes, and wildlife. My work brings these interests together through visual identities, illustration, websites, and communications that tell the story of a place.

My background spans architecture, landscape architecture, and creative marketing. I’ve contributed to projects including Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, Woolworth Tower Residences, The Astor on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Ten Thousand in Los Angeles, 11 Beach in Tribeca, 45 Park Place, 252 East 57th, Madison Square Park Tower, Sugar Beach Viceroy Residences Saint Lucia, as well as real estate positioning and branding work in France, Italy, and the UK.

Over time, I’ve found myself drawn to a more personal creative practice, working closely with independent businesses, hotels, restaurants, and local organizations. I’m interested in the details that make each one distinctive: the building it occupies, the landscape around it, the people behind it, and its place in the community. That interest also extends to architectural heritage conservation, where understanding and communicating the value of a place can help support its future.

In the studio, I work with watercolour, traditional Chinese ink, digital illustration, and animation. I love returning to the tactile qualities of working by hand and bringing that warmth into contemporary identities, printed materials, and websites.

I hold a Master of Architecture from McGill University and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the Université de Montréal. These studies taught me to look closely at how people inhabit and shape their surroundings. I’m now pursuing a Certificate in Environmental Data Science at Yale University to explore those relationships through data, with a focus on how environmental conditions and community perspectives can inform planning and conservation. Across research and creative work, I’m interested in making what we learn about places easier to understand, care about, and act on.
